Gayan Bayan
Performance of Gayan Bayan in the Ankiya style play Sitaharan Balibadh. Gayan Bayan was innovated by 15th century maestro Srimanta Sankaradeva as prelude for his Ankiya plays. The performers wear Ghuri. The play was performed in a NSD workshop at Uttar Kamalabari Sattra, Majuli on 26th November 2017. It was directed by Rubul Kumar Mahanta.
