Contributions of Srimanta Sankaradeva

Dr Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti delivered this lecture on contributions of Srimanta Sankaradeva at Gangmow Than on 28 December 2013. It was organised by the Government of Assam as part of Biswanath Festival. Srimanta Sankaradeva stayed for five years from 1517 to 1522 at Gangmow. A Than was established there. However the original place of Gangmow Than was eroded away by Brahmaputra.
